Joy From the Detachment of Covertly Toxic Persons

October 21, 2020

Covertly toxic persons are those who it is not readily apparent are toxic and/or acting as spiritual vampires. They do seemingly nice things that hide their true nature, but inwardly they hate you. Dealing with covertly toxic persons can leave you in a state of confusion when they vacillate between their false self and glimpses of their true self. Well God is not the author of confusion, but Satan is. One day, you may notice that certain people who are covertly toxic have detached from you. Just count it all joy and rejoice because their hatred of you causes you to be blessed. And when they detach from you, criticize you, and slander your name, you’re blessed -and have a great reward in Heaven. Eventually, the light of the Holy Spirit reveals the true nature of these covertly toxic persons, sometimes even before they detach from you. So through it all rejoice and have joy in the God of your salvation. You are blessed.

Prayer:

Dear Father God,

Thank You Lord for covertly toxic persons who have detached from my life. And thank You Holy Spirit for revealing them to me. I ask that You would continue to give me a spirit of discernment for covertly toxic persons and spiritual vampires. Through it all, Lord I rejoice and have joy in You, the God of my salvation, for I am blessed.

In Jesus name I pray,

Amen

Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation.

Habakkuk 3:18

Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake.

Luke 6:22

Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets.

Luke 6:23
